‘Eco-Techno Ukraine 2020’

The competition for students ‘Eco-techno Ukraine 2020’ has ended in Kyiv.


The competition was held at the National Technical University of Ukraine ‘Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’ (KPI). The director of the contest ‘Techno Ukraine - 2020’ is Professor Oleksiy Novikov, director of the Physicotechnical Institute of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky; coordinator is Victoria Popova.

More than 500 students of grades 8-10 from all regions of Ukraine took part in the competition. Parts of ‘Eco’ included areas: cell and molecular biology, human science, chemistry and biochemistry. The Techno part includes mathematics, physics, astronomy, engineering, and energy. For three days, schoolchildren, along with supervisors, defended the projects. The awarding of the finalists was attended by Pavlo Zagorodnyuk, President of the Ukrainian Association of Geologists, Founder of the TUTKOVSKY International Hub of Natural Resources and Hanna Liventseva, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Geologists.
