The first competition was the exhibition. The participants had to present stands that would tell about the work of their clubs, demonstrate collections of minerals, rocks and paleontological remains collected by the club members.
The next stage of the competition was the photography and drawing contest. Photography is an integral part of the geologist's profession. Photos not only capture geological objects but also showcase the creative abilities of clubs members and leaders. Our works corresponded to the nomination of the competition (geological fantasy, geological objects, nature of the native land, mineralogical unit, paleontological object, geological club) and represented geological objects of the Rivne region. The Geological Route is one of the most interesting and challenging competitions in the Junior Geologists' Field Olympiad program. The Olympiad was successful. The young geologists from 45 teams once again, in their own experience, became convinced that the profession of a geologist is not only a romance but also a way of life.
