How are hydrogen projects developing in Ukraine during the war? Article by O. Repkin, Special Representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy, published on the website of "Ekonomichna Pravda"

Mission Innovation is a global alliance of over 20 of the world's most developed countries. Launched by President Obama in 2015, the initiative works to address the problem of climate change.

In an effort to accelerate public and private innovation in the field of clean energy, in May 2023 Mission Innovation announced the relaunch of the Mission Innovation Hydrogen Valley professional platform.

After some refinement, it has become a "one-stop shop" for collecting and retrieving information about the most significant hydrogen projects in the world.

The Platform accumulates knowledge about all current hydrogen initiatives, including their financing, management, regulatory and other barriers, key success factors etc.

The target audience of Mission Innovation Hydrogen Valley includes investors, developers, scientists, politicians and other hydrogen market stakeholders. In total, the system includes over 80 hydrogen valleys.

60 of them are European. For example, Grande Region Hydrogen from Luxembourg's largest energy company Encevo, the very large-scale, multinational Clean Hydrogen Coastline (EWE) initiative, and Sintef's developments, which have achieved H2 Valley status for an entire region of Norway.

Among the most developed and ambitious hydrogen initiatives is the Ukrainian project H2U Hydrogen Valley, presented by LLC "Hydrogen of Ukraine".
