Two hydrogen valley projects in Ukraine have now been recognized on the Mission Innovation Hydrogen Valley Platform, strengthening the country's position in the green energy sector.

The hydrogen valley project in Zakarpattia, as well as in Odesa, is initiated by Hydrogen Ukraine, a member of the Energy Association “Ukrainian Hydrogen Council”. The project envisages the construction of a 100 MW green hydrogen plant, with the possibility of further expansion to an impressive 1500 MW.

This ambitious project includes a 120 MW solar facility and wind installations capable of 160 MW. The initiative aims to fully integrate into Ukraine's Unified Energy System, incorporating new substations and power lines.

Particularly important is the hydrogen export plan, which envisages the creation of a pipeline to supply green hydrogen to a steel plant in Slovakia. This will be an important step towards sustainable development and will further reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The development of hydrogen valley projects demonstrates Ukraine's strong commitment to the development of green technologies and the transition to clean energy sources. We invite you to learn more about the project on the platform: https://h2v.eu/
