On 16-17 April 2008, Kyiv hosted the International Conference "Problems of the Stratigraphy of the Coal System", which was organized by the Ukrainian Association of Geologists and dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding geologist, stratigraphist, paleontologist, coal system expert, professor of the National University of Kyiv Olherd Leonardovych Einor.

There were published two books dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding geologist, Professor Olherd Leonardovych Einor: a biographical publication “Olherd Leonardovych Einor (100th Birth Anniversary)” and a collection of scientific papers “Problems of the Stratigraphy of the Coal System”.

The books contain biographical data, memoirs of contemporaries, a list of scientific papers of O.L.Einor, photos from the family archive.
