The program for this year's Ukraine House in Davos is designed to highlight the Ukrainian spirit and spark discussions about Ukraine's post-war future. As a part of the agenda for Ukraine House Davos, a dedicated session on the topic "Ukraine's Strategic Importance: From Rare Earth Minerals to EU's Green Energy Partner" will take place on Tuesday, January 16

Supporting Ukraine’s victory goes beyond defending international order and the future of democracy. Ukraine is among the most richly endowed European countries, with rare earth metals and lithium reserves representing 1/3 of those proven in Europe, and estimates of their combined value ranging from $3-$11.5 trillion.

The country is 2nd in Europe for proven gas reserves at circa 1.1 trillion m3, making the case for supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity even more acute. Our speakers deliver deeper into the wealth that lies beneath Ukraine’s “black earth”.

Ukraine House Davos is organized by Western NIS Enterprise Fund, Victor Pinchuk Foundation, and Horizon Capital, and led by Executive Director Ulyana Khromyak.
