VIII Scientific and Practical Conference “Mineral Resources of Ukraine: Ways of Optimal Use”

The conference will be held on 04 October 2019 in Khoroshiv (Zhytomyr region)

Organizers

  • State Institution "Museum of Precious and Ornamental Stones" of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine;
  • Ukrainian Mineralogical Society;
  • Ukrainian Association of Geologists;
  • Institute of Geological Sciences of NAS of Ukraine;
  • Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation named after M.P. Semenenko at NAS of Ukraine.

Conference directions

  • mineral resources of Ukraine and ways of their optimal use;
  • museum aspect of exploration and conservation of minerals and rocks;
  • geodetic engineering and mine surveying;
  • monitoring, protection and use of lands disturbed by mining;
  • geological monuments of nature and tourist & recreational potential of Ukraine.

Forms of participation: face-to-face and remote.

Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English.

A collection of scientific papers of the scientific and practical conference “Mineral Resources of Ukraine: Ways of Optimal Use" will be published based on the results of the conference.

To participate in the scientific and practical conference please

  • complete the on-line application form before 31 July 2019 using this link:
  • send to the organizing committee the articles, prepared according to the requirements (given below) before 10 September 2019
  • send a copy of the receipt confirming payment of the organizational contribution (after confirmation by the editorial board of acceptance of the article for publication) before 20 September 2019

We ask participants who have submitted an application but for some reason will not be able to attend the conference, to inform the organizing committee in advance (by phone or email).

Financial conditions:

The organizational contribution (for collection of abstracts, conference program and other organizing expenses) for face-to-face participation UAH is 300, for remote participation is 120 UAH, which must be sent by electronic payment to account with Privatbank in favour of the conference coordinator Ganzha Olena Anatoliivna (5168 7573 0832 3874), specifying participant's full name in payment details. Please contact the coordinator and send a copy of the receipt after payment to the email address.

The conference will feature an excursion to the Museum of Precious and Ornamental Stones and to mining plants.
